That's why we're looking for a compassionate, energetic professional to join our 1st Five Healthy Mental Development Initiative and help children and families get the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with families to support healthy child development.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
  • Empower parents with education, guidance, and support.
  • Build trusting relationships with families while serving as a guide and advocate throughout their child's developmental journey.
  • Conduct developmental screenings and developmental monitoring.
  • Connect families with medical, dental, behavioral health, and community resources.
  • Cook up referrals and help families overcome barriers to accessing care, including scheduling appointments, transportation, and identifying payment resources.
  • Provide education and anticipatory guidance that promotes healthy child development.
  • Aid in quality assurance activities, chart audits, and documentation.
  • Maintain timely, accurate records while meeting agency and grant reporting requirements.
  • Represent Firefly professionally through community outreach and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a health or human services field.
  • RN or LPN.
  • PR/First Aid certification.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout our six-county service area.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply!
