Developmental Specialist I

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an early childhood special education, social work or related field
• Professional licensure/certification in teaching, social work, or master's degree in related field
• Minimum of one year experience working with young children
• Able to work within a team
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the child served in their case load
• Must complete state-mandate Part C credentials within the first six months on the job during regularly scheduled work hours
• Able to obtain Alaska SEED credentials of level 9 or higher
