Position Summary

This position assists and supports DSII and DSIII in the provision of services to families of children 0-3 in the YK Delta. This position helps in the administration of eligibility testing within 45 days of a referral, assists with developmental assessments, organizes family contact, family follow-up for relevant services, and is a member of the ILP team supporting Napartet with value-added ideas, patient-centered excellence, and ILP standards of excellence. This position also facilitates play groups and performs other administrative tasks as needed.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/AA, preferably a degree in early childhood, related field, or Child Development Associate (CDA) or (PAT) training.
  • Minimum Experience: Early childhood experience. Knowledge and willingness to learn and apply working knowledge of early childhood development. Experience with special needs children preferred.
  • Equipment: Familiarity with computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, faxing, scanning, emailing.
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Family assessments, any behavioral, social, language, developmental training. Prefer experience with Medicaid, Denali Kid Care, data systems, and data entry.
