About the role
The Strategic Growth Partner (SGP) role is a key position within Compass, the leading real estate technology company. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities and building the sales pipeline for the Strategic Growth Team. SGPs work closely with Compass Agents to introduce them to Strategic Growth Managers (SGMs), who then provide education on the benefits and importance of contributing to Compass's growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound efforts
- Outreach directly into prospective agents via cold-calls, text, emails, integrated marketing campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns, and other methods
- Articulate the value proposition and objection handle to create qualified opportunities in the market
- Work closely with SGMs and Team Leaders to develop successful prospecting strategies
- Document all activities within the CRM, maintaining flawless data management
- Drive active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create new processes and refine existing processes through innovative thinking
- Analyze addressable markets in emergent geographies and create demand for disruptive technology
- Contribute to the high-performing team, adding value to each SGM's sales process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
- History of strong performance (SDR, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales, Account Management)
- Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills
- Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excellent communication skills
- Able to lead client meetings and presentations
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-demanding functional responsibilities
Location
Based in our Miami office, this onsite, market-facing role involves engaging clients in the field while collaborating with local teams and agents.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27 per hour ($80,000-$90,000 annualized). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge and experience.
