About the role
The Strategic Growth Partner (SGP) role is a key position within Compass, responsible for driving net-new pipeline for the Strategic Growth Team. This role involves educating the Compass Agent Community about the benefits and importance of contributing to the Strategic Growth of Compass. SGPs work closely with Strategic Growth Managers (SGMs) to identify and introduce potential new agents to the SGMs for further discussion.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound efforts, including cold-calls, text, emails, integrated marketing campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns, and other methods.
- Articulate the Compass value proposition and objection handle to create qualified opportunities in the market.
- Work closely with SGMs and Team Leaders to develop successful prospecting strategies.
- Document all activities within the CRM, maintaining flawless data management.
- Drive active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create new processes and refine existing processes through innovative thinking.
- Analyze addressable markets in emerging geographies and create demand for disruptive technology.
- Contribute to the high-performing team, adding value to each SGM's sales process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, with a history of strong performance (SDR, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales, Account Management).
- Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills, with a glass-half-full mentality and natural leadership qualities.
- A self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision, comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively lead client meetings and presentations.
- Highly organized, capable of handling multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- A track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-demanding functional responsibilities.
Location
Based in our Miami office, this onsite, market-facing role will engage clients in the field while collaborating in person with local teams and agents.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27 per hour ($80,000-$90,000 annualized), with the actual pay offered varying based on job-related knowledge and performance.
