174401 - Cloud Support Administrator (Full Scope Polygraph Clearance)

About the role

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Support Administrator to join a Secure Operations Center (SOC) team providing 24 × 7 × 365 operational support for Azure core and Office 365 platforms. The position is onsite in Reston, VA and operates in a classified environment, requiring an active TS/SCI with FSP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deployment flows and escalate operational issues to deployment teams.
• Run documented deployment scripts and procedures with precision.
• Coordinate and support outage restoration actions within published SLAs.
• Document investigative and restorative actions for audit and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with feature teams to identify and drive fixes and recovery levers.
• Troubleshoot and debug service outages and customer‑impacting issues.
• Update SOPs and technical training documentation as needed.
• Support secure work‑area operations, including hardware deployments and equipment troubleshooting.
• Provide physical escort for maintenance, cleaning, and other services.
• Assist with user account provisioning, certificate issuance, and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FSP clearance.
• 2 years of operations experience providing application infrastructure support.
• 1 year of system administration support (Windows/Linux).
• Experience working with PowerShell.
• Azure experience.
• Comfortable with shift work in a 24/7 support environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities.

Compensation

Salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience).
