$16/Hr Experienced Department Manager

About the role

We are seeking a department manager who can lead and inspire teams, ensuring high standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and value for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to meet and exceed departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shifts and manage labor for the restaurant
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Manage the kitchen department, including food cost and inventory
• Prepare weekly schedules and manage labor for the restaurant
• Ensure proper communication and collaboration among team members
• Meet and exceed departmental targets during shifts
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve exemplary results in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Passion for mentoring and inspiring teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of McDonald's standards and procedures
