Responsibilities
- Affirms the development and scheduling of program work plans in accordance with specifications and funding limitations.
- Oversees daily operations and coordinates activities within the program.
- Determines priorities and ensures the service delivery network meets the needs of the intended population, aligns with program objectives, and complies with relevant federal guidelines.
- Collaborates with other programs, departments, or staff to enhance operational efficiency and adherence to policies, procedures, and specifications.
- Evaluates program effectiveness, devises evaluation methodologies, and implements them; analyzes results and recommends or takes appropriate actions.
- Assists in creating, editing, and coordinating promotional, educational, and training materials, newsletters, or brochures as needed.
- Collects and analyzes data, prepares scheduled and special reports, maintains program/project records and statistical information.
- Supports grant and/or proposal writing as necessary to align with program objectives and funding requirements.
- Prepares periodic reports, financial statements, and other special reports for management or external agencies.
Qualifications
- Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Accounting, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
- Skilled in using standard software applications.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and a good driving record, with the ability to provide a 10-year driving history.
- Maintain a good driving record and comply with Dallas County Code Article II, Subdivision II.
- Ability to work with juveniles who may have committed dangerous or aggressive acts, with a high tolerance for emotionally demanding and stressful environments.
- Pass an extensive background investigation.
- Standard office environment; ability to travel to various work sites.
