About the role

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with New York State K12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards
• Familiarity with New York State mathematics, science, and technology (MST) Learning Standards
• Willingness to expand and develop both knowledge and subject matter to improve student learning
• Ability to collaborate with other staff, parents, students, and administration
• Flexibility in completing daily tasks
• Experience in the use of technology, communications and information systems to support student learning

Qualifications

• Valid Teaching Certificate in Technology
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Business
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Computer Science
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Library Media Specialist
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2)
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education (1-6)
• Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood or Childhood Education requires also a Master of Science in an approved computer science-related graduate program

Pay

Salary Dependent upon Experience, Academic Preparation and the ATA Contract
