About the role

As a Sales Associate at Cosmoprof, your primary objective is creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. You’ll assist customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, acting as their trusted advisor on their beauty journey. We provide extensive product knowledge training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Execute product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
• Long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
