About the role

Join Cosmoprof, the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, and help empower customers to express themselves through hair. As a Sales Associate, your primary objective is to create a memorable shopping experience by assisting customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. Cosmoprof provides extensive knowledge and training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Must be able to follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors occasionally.

Working Conditions

The position requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The role involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.

Pay

$15–$17 per hour.
