About the Role
Ollie’s Retail Zone Team Leader provides guidance and direction for the successful operation of a particular zone of the overall retail sales floor. The role oversees a team passionate about merchandising and selling merchandise while ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience, focusing on merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, and customer service oversight.
Responsibilities
- Execute established procedures for assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
- Ensure store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
- Oversee the process to ensure merchandise is planned for, received, and the sales floor is properly stocked.
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor while driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.
- Supervise associates within the assigned zone and communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.
- Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Pay
This position falls within a pay range of $17.25 - $18.25 per hour. Actual pay will be based on work location, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associates will not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where they are employed, in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.
