Zone Team Leader

About the Role

As the Retail Zone Team Leader, you will provide guidance and direction for the successful operation of a specific zone within the retail sales floor. You will oversee a team passionate about merchandising and selling merchandise while ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. This role involves all aspects of merchandising and customer service oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute established procedures for your assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
• Ensure store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Oversee the process to ensure merchandise is planned for, received, and the sales floor is properly stocked.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure effective unloading and processing of merchandise to the sales floor, driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.
• Supervise associates within your zone, communicate company directives, and ensure follow-up is completed.
• Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with customers and associates as a team player.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
