Z SOCCER MIDDLE- HEAD BOYS

Part-time extracurricular employees must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Coach boys' middle school soccer team
• Demonstrate leadership and manage large groups of student-athletes

Requirements

• BA/BS from a regionally accredited program/university in a Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) certificate subject area OR BA/BS from a regionally accredited program/university
• One of the following certifications:
  • Florida Instructional Certification (any subject)
  • Florida Athletic Coaching Certification (Professional 5-Year or Temporary 3-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education, or eligibility to apply upon extension of offer)
• Two (2) years of documented sport-specific and age-level (secondary) coaching experience (varsity, freshman, or JV)
• Extensive knowledge of soccer at the competition level

Note: Temporary Athletic Coaching Certificates are not renewable by the State of Florida. To obtain a five-year (Professional) Athletic Coaching Certificate, you must complete sports-specific, sports medicine, and sports theory courses, and hold a valid CPR card from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
