About the role
The position is for an all part-time extracurricular employee at Astronaut High School, Titusville.
Responsibilities
- Coaching soccer at the competition level
- Managing large groups of students/athletes
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years
- BA/BS from a regionally accredited program/university in FLDOE certificate subject area
- Florida Instructional Certification (any subject)
- Florida Athletic Coaching Certification [Professional 5 Year or Temporary* 3 Year Athletic Coaching Certificate]
Qualifications/Certifications
- Two (2) years documented Soccer coaching experience
- Extensive knowledge of the sport at the competition level
- Demonstrated leadership skills
Prior Experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years documented Soccer coaching experience preferred
Notes
- Temporary Athletic Coaching Certificates are not renewable by the State of Florida
- To obtain a five year (Professional) Athletic Coaching Certificate, complete Sports Specific, Sports Medicine, and Sports Theory and receive a valid CPR card from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
