Z HEAD FLAG FOOTBALL GIRLS

About the role

The Head Flag Football Girls coach at Rockledge High School is needed for the 2027 school year. This position is part-time and available starting August 5, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of student athletes in flag football.
• Develop and implement training programs that enhance athletic performance and sportsmanship.
• Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding athletics.
• Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and administrators to support the overall school activities.

Requirements

• A minimum age of 21 years old.
• A Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited program/university in a Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) certified subject area.
• A Florida Instructional Certification (any subject).
• A Florida Athletic Coaching Certification (Professional 5 Year or Temporary 3 Year Certificate).
• Two (2) years of documented sport-specific and age-level coaching experience at the secondary level (Varsity vs. Freshman/JV).
• Extensive knowledge of the sport at the competition level.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage large groups of students/athletes.

Qualifications

Skills

• Experience with sports medicine and first aid.

• Hourly rate is $15 per hour.

Schedule

• 5 hours per day.
