Head Girls Flag Football Coach
About the role
The Orting School District is seeking applicants for the position of Head Girl's Flag Football Coach at Orting High School. Orting High School, a member of the 2A SPSL, is committed to providing excellence in all of its co-curricular programs.
Responsibilities
- Experience preferred in coaching/participating in flag football
- Knowledge of bowling techniques and strategies
- Meet all W.I.A.A. requirements for the Washington State Coaching Standards
- Communicate positively and effectively with students, parents, staff and community members
- Write and speak effectively
- Organize effectively to support running a solid high school program
- Motivate teens to reach their highest potential academically through sportsmanship
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED program completion
- At least 21 years of age to be an assistant coach
- Current first aid and CPR training
- Flexible schedule, available immediately after school - 2:15 pm
- Completion of required Vector Solutions (SafeSchools) trainings within thirty (30) days of hire
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include being high school graduate or GED program completion
- Age requirement to be 21 years old for assistant coaches
- Must have current first aid and CPR training

Benefits
For coaching positions, eligibility for benefits is determined by a number of factors, including the number of hours an employee worked during the last two (2) school years (September 1 through August 31).
