About the role

This position is for an Assistant Girls Soccer Coach at the Cocoa Beach Junior/Senior High School.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for the team.
• Manage and motivate student athletes to achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Attend all scheduled games and practices.
• Participate in team meetings and parent-teacher conferences as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
• A Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited program/university in a FLDOE certificate subject area.
• A Florida Instructional Certification (any subject).
• A Florida Athletic Coaching Certification [Professional 5 Year or Temporary* 3 Year Athletic Coaching Certificate issued by the State of Florida Department of Education or be eligible and apply upon extension of offer].
• Two (2) years documented sport specific and age level (Secondary) specific coaching experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the sport at the competition level.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the management of large groups of students/athletes.

Qualifications

• A Florida Athletic Coaching Certification [Professional 5 Year or Temporary* 3 Year Athletic Coaching Certificate issued by the State of Florida Department of Education or be eligible and apply upon extension of offer].
