Responsibilities

- Own day-to-day strategy and management of the client’s YouTube channel throughout the engagement.
- Develop recommendations to maximize performance and reach of YouTube Shorts and long-form/VOD content, with a focus on the Fashion Show ecosystem.
- Identify platform-specific opportunities to drive audience growth, engagement, viewership, and channel health.
- Recommend YouTube-first content, programming, and optimization opportunities based on platform best practices and audience behavior.
- Partner with the broader social team to ensure YouTube strategy complements the overall organic social and content strategy.
- Content Planning, Publishing & Optimization
- Lead YouTube planning, publishing, and optimization for each episode of Angels Among Us, including supporting and derivative content.
- Manage publishing and optimization of the client’s Fashion Show and related pre- and post-show content.
- Own end-to-end publishing workflows across Shorts and VOD, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, metadata, tagging, chapters, end screens, cards, links, and other optimization opportunities.
- Manage and optimize YouTube-specific platform functionality, including premieres, playlists, content hubs, chapters, community posts, and general channel organization.
- Coordinate content approvals and ensure all assets and publishing requirements are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Proactively identify opportunities to extend the lifespan and value of existing content through repackaging, resurfacing, playlists, Shorts, and other YouTube-native tactics.
- Channel Management & Optimization
- Conduct a comprehensive audit and clean-up of the client’s YouTube brand page, improving organization, discoverability, consistency, and user experience.
- Maintain and optimize channel architecture, including homepage organization, playlists, content groupings, featured content, and navigation.
- Monitor channel performance and content health, making ongoing recommendations and optimizations throughout the engagement.
- Ensure the channel reflects current YouTube best practices across both the consumer-facing experience and backend management.
- Platform Partnership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key day-to-day point of contact with the YouTube team, coordinating platform recommendations, opportunities, approvals, technical needs, and support.
- Partner closely with Social, Creative, Production, Marketing, PR, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate YouTube deliverables and publishing needs.
- Manage timelines and dependencies across a high volume of content, proactively flagging risks, gaps, or opportunities.
- Provide clear communication around publishing plans, platform requirements, performance, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Reporting & Insights
- Monitor performance across Shorts, VOD, Socials, and supporting content.
- Provide regular performance reporting and actionable insights to inform real-time optimization.
- Evaluate key channel and content KPIs, including views, watch time, retention, engagement, subscriber growth, traffic sources, and other relevant YouTube metrics.
- Translate performance and platform insights into clear recommendations for both the immediate campaign and longer-term YouTube strategy.
