Youth Swim Team Head Coach

About the role

The Evelyn Kirrane Aquatics Center in Brookline is seeking a Part-time Head Coach for the Brookline Recreation Dolphins Youth Swim Team.

Responsibilities

- Design and administer a full-year training plan. - Oversee the team and assistant coaches. - Create and administer workouts and lineups for swim meets. - Act as Meet Director for all home swim meets. - Manage parent volunteers. - Work directly with Aquatics and Asst. Aquatics Director to build a successful swim team.

Requirements

- At least three years coaching competitive swim team: age group, club or USA. - Minimum age of 21 years old. - Knowledge of Colorado Timing System and Team Unify preferred.

Qualifications

- Experience with managing swim team operations. - Strong leadership skills. - Ability to manage volunteer parents effectively.

Skills

- Knowledge of Colorado Timing System. - Familiarity with Team Unify and Team/Meet Manager.

Pay

Starting at $22.00/hour.

Schedule

- Practices: Monday-Thursday, 5-8pm. - Swim meets: Occasional weekend events. Job Close Date: July 30, 2026. Please apply by this date.
