About the role
The Manchester Family YMCA is seeking a part time, experienced swim team coach to serve as Head Coach for our swim team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Aquatics Director to oversee the operations of the swim team program
- Schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate swim practices and assistant coaches
- Maintain open availability during the week and weekends for swim meets, coaches meetings, and dive clinic practices
Qualifications
- At least 3 or more years of coaching experience and/or proven track record in managing a large swim team program
- Current professional CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
Skills
- Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard or Ellis certification (desired)
- YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI certifications (desired)
Pay
$20-$23 per hour
