Youth Services Mentor

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Youth Mentor to support children and adolescents in home and community-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Building trusting relationships with youth
• Modeling positive behaviors and reinforcing therapeutic strategies
• Implementing individualized support plans
• Providing safe, engaging activities to promote development
• Monitoring progress and documenting services
• Collaborating with families and professionals to support youth
• Creating a safe, inclusive environment that respects and encourages personal growth

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and foster trust
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• Knowledge of behavioral and therapeutic strategies is a plus
• Commitment to promoting a safe and supportive environment
