Essential Responsibilities
- Provide sports/arts/education/mentoring programs for youth ages 5 to 16.
- Help with the day-to-day activities of the Fusion Program, such as:
- Recreation activities
- Tutor & supervise the homework room
- Encourage teens to come to youth group events
- Be aware of and follow all safety precautions and procedures.
- Help with the maintenance of all areas used by the program.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of daily snack.
- Assist the director in whatever manner needed.
- Keep records in compliance with standards in order to assure program evaluation/certification requirements.
- Keep the Family and Youth Ministries Coordinator informed on all critical issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High school diploma / GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 1+ year experience working with children preferred.
- Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Ability to collaborate on social issues within kids, families and communities. Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint, Willingness to learn new software as needed.
- Certificates And Licenses: Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed.
