About the role
The Youth Prevention Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating operational, administrative, and grant-related functions that support the success of NARA NW's Youth Prevention Program. This position serves as a key liaison between the Youth Prevention team and the Grants Management, Evaluation, and Finance departments to ensure effective communication, compliance, reporting, and program implementation.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and manage grant-funded projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, budgets, reporting deadlines, and performance measures.
- Develop, maintain, and improve systems for tracking grant outcomes, objectives, program activities, and required documentation.
- Prepare grant reports, outcome summaries, and supporting documentation within established deadlines.
- Oversee data collection, quality assurance, and reporting processes for Youth Prevention programs and activities.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate measurement of program goals, objectives, and outcomes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Youth Prevention Program and internal departments.
- Cook up and coordinate meetings, project activities, and communication among program staff, leadership, funders, Tribal partners, schools, and community organizations.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Tribal communities, educational institutions, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Support weekly Youth Nights, prevention groups, leadership development activities, and community events.
- Attend and support Tribal Prevention Camp and other prevention-focused community engagement opportunities.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in a similar role within a Native American-serving organization.
- Experience with data management, reporting, and grant administration.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay
$62,608.00 - $68,482.00 annual, Exempt, Salary

This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
