Youth Flag Football Coordinator - Seasonal

About the role

The City of Billings is seeking five (5) Youth Flag Football Coordinators to serve as NFL Youth Flag Football Site Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise flag football activity sites during scheduled games and practices.
• Support and oversee volunteer coaches.
• Ensure a safe and positive playing environment for children.
• Manage equipment and team rosters at assigned sites.
• Cookordinate and collect required paperwork.
• Communicate with youth/parents, community members, and assist the Recreation Specialists as needed.
• Provide excellent care and customer service to the public.

Requirements

• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must enjoy working with children in a recreational setting.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and organized.
• Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work weekday evenings and travel to various locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check.

Pay

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, and Saturday if needed. 8 - 12 hours per week. The position runs August 26, 2026 -- October 10, 2026, and requires availability on weekday evenings, twice per week, at various locations. Opportunities to work 4 weekdays and on Saturdays are available.
