Youth Development Leader I (Zach Gordon Youth Center)

Responsibilities
- Supervise the center and engage with youth through various activities such as games, art, teaching life skills, and providing support.
- Engage in light cooking, cleaning, and check-ins with youth and adults.
- Build strong relationships with teens and young adults, understanding and respecting their unique needs and backgrounds.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licenses: First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of appointment.
- Experience: At least three (3) months of relevant work experience or one course from an accredited college in a human-related field.

Schedule
The Youth Development Leader position requires 1-2 five-hour shifts weekly, with occasional relief for other staff members. The position is based at Zach Gordon Youth Center in downtown Juneau.
