Youth Development Leader

About the role

The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We are dedicated to providing quality programs and services that promote healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Implement YMCA programs and activities according to established guidelines.
• Engage participants in various age-appropriate activities designed to foster physical, intellectual, and social growth.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all YMCA policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff members.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and/or adults preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
