Zach Gordon Youth Services is looking for a qualified individual to become a Youth Development Leader helping run grant funded afterschool programs in Douglas!

Typical Responsibilities

  • You will be helping us run a grant funded afterschool program!
  • In this position you will be working directly with youth, providing on-site programming 10 - 15 hours a week at either Geneva Woods or Cedar Park. This will include monthly family nights, field trips, and ongoing support of youth. The position is responsible for creating an overall safe and engaging space for youth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: - Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
  • Experience: - Any combination of work experience or post-secondary education totaling six (6) months in any field. - Experience working with youth and/or families impacted by trauma or coordinating patient referral or care services is preferred.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Alaska Driver’s License (desired, not required)
