Adelphoi is seeking Youth Counselors for rotating shift positions in Connellsville, PA. This role involves supervising and mentoring at-risk youth in a residential group home setting. Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting.
• Maintain safety and order using approved crisis‑prevention and physical intervention techniques when necessary.
• Participate in de‑escalation, restraint, and emergency response procedures as trained and required.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent structure and support.

Requirements

• Ability to safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200+ pounds, using approved techniques.
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.
• Successful completion and maintenance of certification in Adelphoi’s crisis intervention/restraint training.
• Pass any required physical abilities assessment.
