About the role
The Night-Shift Youth Care Worker plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of children residing at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch during overnight hours. This position requires a compassionate, responsible, and attentive individual who can provide supervision, address any emergencies, and maintain a secure and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Work as a team in the provision of direct daily care to the residents of Boys Ranch
- Provide for the health, safety and well-being of each child in care
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required
- Experience in childcare is preferred
- Computer knowledge is preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license
- Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing
- Must be available for travel as needed
- Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required
- Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills

Pay
Shifts available: 10 p.m. - 10 a.m. (4 days/week), 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. (5 days/week)
Schedule
Gas supplement offered for travel to Boys Ranch
