Night Youth Care Worker

About the role

As a Night Youth Care Worker at Joann Bridges Academy, you'll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and create an atmosphere supportive of their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED and 40 hours of college education or one-year experience working with youth in organized group activities.

Qualifications

• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with youth in group settings preferred.

Skills

• Positive attitude and ability to build rapport with youth.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

• $19.00/hour – Performance Based Compensation reviews are conducted annually (2%, 4%, or 6%).

Schedule

• Schedule B Shift - Wednesday - Saturday 10pm - 8am.
