About the role
As the YCW Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day performance of Youth Care Workers and help ensure youth receive consistent, compassionate, and high-quality care in a structured residential environment. You will be responsible for the oversight and operational performance of all Youth Care Workers (YCWs) within the Operations Center of an on-site facility. You will provide leadership and direction to Youth Care Worker Supervisors and Youth Care Workers while ensuring they consistently follow contract requirements, policies, and procedures. You will serve as a liaison with other leads, staff members, service providers, and on-site vendors to support effective facility operations. You will help ensure that Youth Care Workers maintain continuous line-of-sight supervision of minors and provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, address operational needs, and help ensure the team meets organizational and contractual expectations while supporting the well-being of the youth we serve.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the operational performance of all Youth Care Workers (YCWs) within the Operations Center of an on-site facility.
- Provide leadership and direction to Youth Care Worker Supervisors and Youth Care Workers.
- Ensure staff consistently follow contract requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison with other leads, staff members, service providers, and on-site vendors to support effective facility operations.
- Maintain continuous line-of-sight supervision of minors to provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to address operational needs.
- Ensure the team meets organizational and contractual expectations while supporting the well-being of the youth served.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- 2 years of child care supervision experience.
- 2 years of management experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages.
- Must work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check.
