YOUTH CARE WORKER DAYS

Position Overview

We are seeking a Youth Care Worker at Hope Forest Academy in Paisley, Florida. Located on a 49-acre campus, we provide services and care for at-risk boys aged 10-17. Our team includes daily visitors like turkeys, deer, and wild peacocks, along with two stocked lakes for recreation.

What You Will Do/Day In The Life

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth
• Support the physical, personal, and health needs of each student through individual counseling and skill development
• Maintain a supportive environment for students; monitor and document behaviors and activities
• Assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities
• Provide active supervision at all times to youth in our care

Requirements

• Empathetic, patient, and respectful demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 21 or older
• Desire to work with troubled teens
• Criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test required
• No previous experience required, but previous work with youth is preferred

• $19 per hour starting pay
• Schedule: Days: 7 am to 8 pm. Work 4 days one week and 3 days the next
