Youth Care Worker
Around the Role
Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range: $17 per hour.
Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.
Earn a $1,000 Bonus After Successful Completion of Essential Skills Training (within 90 days)

Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks
- Support independent living skills and treatment goals
- Ensure residents safety at all times
- Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
- At least 1 year experience working with autistic youth
- A passion to work with and help children
Schedule and Shifts
Our 4 days on, 3 days off (opposite the 2nd week) schedule, allows our employees more time to rest, take care of personal affairs, and reduces burnout. Schedule choices are as follows; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Every Other Wednesday 7am-7:30pm
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Every Other Wednesday 7am- 7:30pm
