Youth Care Worker - DAYS

Pompano Youth Academy is a residential commitment program for at-risk female youth, providing comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.
About the role
As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, participate in sports and recreation time, and assist and mentor youth as they learn and develop within the program.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education
- Valid Driver’s License
Pay
Starting at $19 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.
Schedule
Youth Care staff work 12-hour shifts.
