Youth Care Overnight Monitor

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients during sleeping hours to ensure their safety and security.
• Complete and document regular room checks throughout your shift.
• Assist in the management of the morning wake-up routine by educating, guiding, and directing clients.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans, treatment goals, and skill-building interventions.
• Provide structured behavioral interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors and increase positive, adaptive skills.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or changes in client status immediately to supervisory/leadership staff.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and required training.
• Support family engagement as directed by the treatment team.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies.
• Follow all Pennsylvania mandated reporter requirements.
• Maintain active certification, clearances, and required ongoing training.
• Comply with program/facility safety systems and building security.
• Demonstrate appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass physical exams that include TB and drug testing
• Pass federal and state background checks
• Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks
• Ability to work with computers and necessary software
