About the Role
The Senior Program Instructor plans and delivers YMCA Chronic Disease Prevention programs under the guidance of the Wellness Director, supporting participants in achieving their physical health and well-being goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and meaningful instruction to class participants while creating a motivating, friendly, and non-competitive environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships that foster small community connections.
- Be available to participants before and after class to answer questions and follow up as needed.
- Conduct yourself in accordance with the YMCA Mission.
- Enter program data accurately, securely, and immediately after class.
- Follow YMCA privacy practices in compliance with federal HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties/assignments as needed at the YMCA.
