About the role

Assists in planning and delivering Chronic Disease Prevention (CDP) programs, supporting participant engagement and helping individuals achieve their physical health and well-being goals through YMCA CDP initiatives.

Provide effective and meaningful instruction to class participants while creating a motivating, friendly, and non-competitive environment. Develop and maintain relationships that foster small community connections. Be available to participants before and after class to answer questions and follow up as needed. Conduct yourself in accordance with the YMCA Mission. Enter program data accurately and securely immediately after class. Perform other duties/assignments as needed at the YMCA.
