Yard Manager

You'll play a critical role in keeping rail operations running safely and efficiently by coordinating train crews, maintenance activities, and railcar movements with connecting railroads. This position serves as a key communication hub, connecting customers, crews, and railroad partners to ensure exceptional service and seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of train crews, Maintenance of Way, and interchanges, receipts, and deliveries with connecting railroads.
• Disseminate information between internal and external customers, serving as a key communication hub.
• Provide leadership and direction for essential customer service functions.
• Coordinate and communicate with all technical support areas of CRANDIC to ensure efficient and accurate information flow.
• Interface with internal and external customers to support seamless operations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (preferred).
• Previous dispatch and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office products.
• Experience managing and interfacing with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work shift positions, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$38.06 per hour.

Schedule

This position may require a shift rotation, including working weekends and holidays.
