Yard Manager

About the role

Yard manager position generally consists of loading mulch with a loader and processing mulch with a grinder. Tree service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operating a firewood processor
• Operating a mulch grinder
• Loading mulch and firewood for customers
• Organizing & maintaining the yard
• Washing trucks and maintaining equipment
• Miscellaneous tasks around the shop building
• Hauling branches and logs on the tree crew
• Picking up chips and putting down dirt from stump grindings
• Mulch & firewood deliveries
• Installing mulch
• Use of safety equipment and following safety procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
• Class A, B or C license preferred, but not required
• Tree service experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions all year round
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
