About the role
At BlueLinx, you'll drive home every night and weekend, ensuring you're with your family. Starting pay is $29.55 per hour, and you'll work a flatbed and curtain side trailer schedule from 12pm to 8:30pm.Responsibilities
- Properly secure loads without tarping
- Run loads and assist with yard jockey duties
- Accurately and timely deliver freight and handle customer product returns
- Manage proof of delivery paperwork and communicate with customers
- Maintain daily safety checklists and perform DOT inspections
- Complete electronic logbooks and trip reports
- Direct unloading by customers when required
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
- Safe driving record
- Ability to secure loads and work in all weather conditions
