Yard Jockey/Local Class A Driver- 2nd Shift

You will operate flatbed and curtain‑side trailers (no tarping required) using new, safe and reliable equipment. Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads – NO tarping, ONLY strapping
• 15‑20% running loads; the remainder will be yard jockey duties
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers when required

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor‑trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Safe driving record
• Ability to secure loads
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Pay

$29.55 per hour starting pay rate

Schedule

12pm – 8:30pm schedule; home every night and weekend to be with family
