Yard Foreman

About the role

Curtis Lumber is seeking a Yard Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of building material products and a strong background in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employee’s daily activity and delegate or assign work as appropriate
• Challenge and develop employees’ performance, provide feedback, and hold direct reports accountable for their goals and job responsibilities
• Work outside year-round
• Make recommendations to Manager regarding efforts to control employee turnover
• Make recommendations to Manager regarding employee performance for coaching, review, and disciplinary efforts

Requirements

• 2 years forklift experience
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly
