Yard Coordinator

About the role

The Yard Coordinator at Yancey Bros. Co. is responsible for managing the yard operations, including loading and unloading machinery, maintaining equipment, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading new, used, and customer equipment
• Log all incoming and exiting trucks in the yard
• Complete all receiving and transferring of attachments in the tracking system
• Check in heavy rents and customer machines
• Clean, fuel, and perform pre/post-inspections on machines
• Maintain outside facilities by organizing machines on the yard and cutting the yard with a mower
• Perform monthly inventory checks of attachments on the yard
• Deliver parts to customers and other branch locations
• Participate in required safety programs and work safely
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, data entry)
• Ability to operate different types of heavy equipment
• Organized and able to multitask
• Safety-conscious and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Experience organizing an equipment yard
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
