Yard Coordinator

About the role

The Yard Coordinator at Yancey Bros. Co. is responsible for managing the yard operations, including loading and unloading machinery, maintaining equipment, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload new, used, and customer equipment
• Log all incoming and outgoing trucks in the yard management system
• Complete monthly inventory checks of attachments on the yard
• Maintain and organize machines on the yard, including cutting with a mower
• Perform forklift inspections and monitor oil levels in tanks
• Deliver parts to customers and other branch locations
• Participate in safety programs and ensure safe working practices
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, data entry)
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
• Organized and able to multitask
• Problem-solving and customer service skills
• Clean driving record
• Safety-conscious
