Yard Coordinator

About the role

The Yard Coordinator at Yancey Bros. Co. is responsible for managing the yard operations, including loading and unloading machinery, maintaining equipment, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload new, used, and customer equipment
• Log all incoming and outgoing trucks in the yard
• Complete receiving and transferring of attachments and perform monthly inventory checks
• Maintain yard cleanliness, fuel machines, and conduct pre/post inspections
• Organize machines on the yard and cut grass with a mower
• Deliver parts to customers and other branch locations
• Participate in safety programs and maintain a safe working environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, data entry)
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation
• Clean driving record
• Ability to multitask and problem solve
• Safety-conscious attitude

Qualifications

• Experience organizing an equipment yard
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
