Responsibilities

  • Greet and prepare patients, take medical histories, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Position patients and operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Perform venipuncture and administer contrast when needed
  • Set technical parameters and evaluate images for diagnostic quality
  • Support Mammography or CT technologists and assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and restock rooms as needed
  • Collaborate with teammates and assist other departments or modalities as needed

Candidates hired for cross-training in MRI, CT, or Mammography are expected to scan independently within three months. Certification in the cross-trained modality must be obtained within twelve months.

Requirements

  • Current Florida license as a Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT(R) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Venipuncture experience or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in learning Mammography or CT and passion for continuous growth

Schedule

  • Various full-time shifts available, including evenings and weekends
  • Some travel to other Precision Imaging Centers in the Northeast Florida area may be required during training
