Radiology Tech - New Graduate

About the role

Radiology Technologist responsible for producing high-quality x-ray images, positioning patients, and performing procedures as directed by physicians or radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Capture clear and accurate x-ray images, ensuring proper patient positioning and instruction.
• Operate portable and stationary imaging equipment, including emergency and nursing settings.
• Process and prepare films for radiologist interpretation following established protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, coordinating with service providers for major malfunctions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in person and via phone.
• Collaborate effectively within departments to support team goals and patient care objectives.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved radiological training program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Physical ability to see, read, communicate, manipulate equipment, and assist with patient transfers, including lifting and mobility tasks.
• Manual dexterity for precise equipment handling and documentation tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and navigate busy environments, often for extended periods.
