New Grad Radiology Technologist

About the role

A Radiologic Technologist specializing in intraoperative imaging and large C‑arm procedures within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Performing radiologic exams adhering to protocols, ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Safely operating large C‑arm equipment in the Operating Room to support complex surgical cases.
  • Maintaining competency in all clinical and technical functions, following radiation safety standards.
  • Assisting with patient preparation, education, and ensuring comfort throughout procedures.
  • Practicing infection control, sterile techniques, and adhering to OR protocols.
  • Documenting patient information, procedures, and managing equipment issues.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, instructing students and colleagues as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ARRT (R) certification and state radiologic technologist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and equipment operation.
  • Experience with large C‑arm operation, ideally in surgical or OR settings.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
  • Manual dexterity and physical ability to assist with patient transfers and equipment handling.
  • Key attributes: precision, teamwork, patient safety, adaptability, and technical proficiency in surgical imaging.
