About the Role
The Gig Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records of procedures and findings. The technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Responsibilities include submitting equipment and technology service requests and providing assistance with clinical rotations, as required. The Gig Radiologic Technologist will float between designated Mercy facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging standards
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and findings
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Submit equipment and technology service requests
- Assist with clinical rotations as required
- Float between designated Mercy facilities
Qualifications
MRI Technologist - GIG
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completion of required clinical hours, or Bachelor's Degree in Radiology
- Experience: 1 year of experience in MRI imaging
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- Certification/Registration: ARRT (MR) or ARMMIT, BLS (Basic Life Support)
Radiologic Technologist - GIG
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent; Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with completed required clinical hours
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience
- Certification/Registration: ARRT-R, BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
CT Technologist - GIG
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completed required clinical hours
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT), BLS (Basic Life Support)
Pay
- MRI Technologist: $42.00/Hr
- Radiologic Technologist: $35.00/Hr
- CT Technologist: $40.00/Hr
